MEDIA ADVISORY: AAA Texas, MADD and Local Law Enforcement to Hold Summer Travel Safety Press Conference

Arlington, TX Transportation and Traffic Safety
media advisory gfx

AAA Texas will join MADD North Texas and local law enforcement for a press conference focused on preventing impaired driving and promoting roadway safety during the busy summer travel season.

The event comes as North Texas prepares to welcome international visitors for major soccer matches in the DFW area, while also approaching the Fourth of July holiday — a time when celebrations, travel and impaired-driving risks increase.

The press conference will include remarks from traffic safety partners, law enforcement and a personal story from Tammi Branch, MADD East Texas Victim Services Manager, who will share her family’s loss due to impaired driving.

AAA, MADD and law enforcement will remind drivers to slow down, stay focused, buckle up and always plan ahead for a sober ride.
