AAA Texas will celebrate the grand opening of its Houston – Memorial branch office location on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. Just in time for planning holiday travel, AAA is offering those who attend festivities the chance to enter a raffle drawing for a Royal Caribbean cruise, travel specials, and there will be free onsite activities that promote safety and protection for Houston families.

AAA Texas welcomes the media and community to join in celebrating the new location, which will enable AAA to continue to grow its Houston-area footprint; offering a full array of member services and benefits to area members and residents, including auto travel, travel agency, and AAA-branded insurance products. Guests who attend will have the chance to enter to win prizes such as a free cruise, free passport photos, and discounted travel specials. Also, guests who book and pay for travel packages will have the option to choose a free set of luggage. Free refreshments and cake will be available.

Free VIN etching (by appointment)

Get a jump start on holiday travel preparations and protect your automobile from thieves with a FREE Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) etching from AAA Texas. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 24, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the new AAA Texas, Houston - Memorial branch located at 1102 Silber Road, Houston, TX 77055.

The Houston Police Department will team up with AAA Texas to provide free VIN etching to attendees, by appointment. Car window VIN etchings are small, but visible enough to deter thieves, according to law enforcement officials. Since car thieves frequently steal vehicles to sell off the automobile’s parts, a window that is VIN etched makes a vehicle less profitable for thieves and helps law enforcement recover stolen vehicles.

To Register for VIN Etching: Call 512-383-4342 or by visiting the following link: https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/aaa-texas-free-vin-etching-october-24-2694359.

Nonstop Flights Fill Up Quickly

Most travelers want to skip layovers and get right to their destination. That means nonstop flights, especially those going cross-country and internationally, will fill up fast. Sometimes travelers wait to book airline tickets to get a better deal, but prices fluctuate, and the longer they wait, the fewer options they’ll have for nonstop flights and premium seats.
