In addition to non-perishable food items, which were collected by employees at The UPS Store, families received Kroger gift cards, gift bags, and complimentary services such as free haircuts. United Way of Dallas also provided information about health services and opportunities to help families in southern Dallas.

“We’re grateful for the generous contributions from our partners,” said Galen Grillo, Vice President and General Manager for AAA Texas. “Through these collective efforts, we aim to ease financial pressures for families, allowing them to focus their resources on other essential needs. It’s our mission to give back and encourage our employees to actively volunteer in the communities we serve.”

The holiday dinner giveaway is part of AAA’s broader mission to give back and encourage employees to volunteer in the communities we serve. By receiving non-perishable food donations, families in need can allocate their limited financial resources to other essential expenses, such as housing, utilities, and healthcare. This can alleviate some of the economic stress they may be facing during the holidays.

AAA Texas extends its gratitude to all the community partners and volunteers who made this event possible and remains committed to supporting the well-being of families across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Non-perishable items included corn bread mix, beans, yams, stuffing, corn, cranberry sauce, peas, and many more.
